    About this Mural

    Also known as "Old Adelaide"

Created in the Fall of 2025, this piece was commissioned by the farmers and homesteaders at Suncatcher Farm, Moravian Falls, North Carolina. At roughly 50 feet in length, this semi-trailer turned backyard storage container houses fence posts, milk jars and any other seasonal and surplus farm equipment and supplies.

Situated in a central area of the farm's self-serve, honor-based farm stand, the farmers agreed on the importance of "spinning silk out of pigs' ears," as one neighbor stated it. Bringing this piece to life is as much a reflection of the beauty in animal husbandry to the consumers who buy local, organic food from the farm as it is a gift of gratitude to the farmers who make it possible.
